WOW!!! CHECK WHO MADE AFRICA'S FIRST CAR

    African's Are Tallented

After years of on the world's back page, Africa finally has a car designed and made in Africa. Check out where this talent comes from.......

These are not any ordinary cars, they are well designed and tested with and they are called the Kantanka.
Apostle Dr Sarfo started his Christo Asafo Mission embarking on series of farming projects primarily to help the poor and the needy in society, exploring engineering and technology and later education to supplement his quest to alleviate the suffering and improve the overall lifestyle of his flock. In the end he came up with Kantanka Cars and other classy gadgets and equipment including Tv's, Hifi's, Refrigerators, various machines and a host of sophisticated equipment most Ghanaians find it difficult to believe an African can come up with.

This is not the first time a local made car has come to the Ghanaian automobile scene. We had the Boafo Cars in the early 70's but they did not last due to lack of support from Ghanaians.

This is not fiction. It is not magic. It is not happening in Europe or Asia and not even in the United States. These products are being manufactured in the West African nation of Ghana.
The brains behind this is Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo, owner of the Kantanka Group of Companies. He is naturally gifted. A genius. An inventor and a philanthropist. He has no formal or sophisticated technical background. He imagines, dreams and creates at will. He lives in his own world.

What is generating national and international attention is the news that the company plans to begin large-scale commercial production. While visiting the factory I had hoped to meet Apostle Sarfo Kantanka, the man behind the vision. That hope is dashed for now. He was not available. Rather, his son, Sarfo Kantanka Junior, a pilot, who is now CEO of the company, was on hand to meet me. He seems to share a lot of his father’s dreams. He believes the company will start large-scale production by the first quarter of next year, with an estimated 200 cars each month.

Six to 10 cars can be assembled and be ready for the road in a day. Four had been completed and tested by the time. It is hard to tell they were actually assembled in Ghana, save for the Kantanka crown and inscription at the back.
    Market plans
"We are hoping to increase the number to 12 or 15 daily when we go commercial soon," Safo Jnr said.

"We have delayed ... going commercial because Africans and Ghanaians in general have the perception that once it is from Ghana, it is not good - durability is not assured, safety is not guaranteed. So we have decided to use the products ourselves and make sure they are good to go and standardised before we hit the market.

"The whites believed in themselves and got to where they are now. They are no different from us. We all stayed in our mothers' womb for nine months ... If you cut a white and a black man you get blood. The only differences are our names and colours," he said.

"So we should believe in ourselves. We must reduce the talking and put in work."
